Alabama’s pretty much on board with interracial marriage, with 67% of voters thinking it should be legal to 21% who think it should not be. There’s still some skepticism in Mississippi though — only 54% of voters think it should be legal, while 29% believe it should be illegal.

Because it effects you if interracial marriage is legal… Same with gay marriage: you don’t want a gay marriage, don’t get gay married. Same for interracial. God, I just can’t with the stupid.

The fact that in 2012 a state can be classified as being “pretty much on board with interracial marriage” is terrifying and I can honestly say that I am ashamed to be from the same fucking planet as these people, nevertheless the same country.
